Did not sleep well.  Too many weird disconnected dreams and felt like I was still awake.  Woke after 4 hours.   Slow to fall back to sleep for only 1.25 hours!!  Feeling nauseated got up ate some pretzels and a cutie pie (orange).  Decided to just get out there and run.  Blue sky that was notable when I arrived home from work at 715am, was pretty much a smoggy haze once again at 130pm.  It is keeping it a stagnant 25 degrees.  It is getting reeeeeaaaaallllllll old.  It is starting to wear on me with the lack of sunshine.  Trotted along for the first 4 miles at a 9 avg pace.  So just feeling "Dori-like".  So I just kept running until I felt like running.  I tried to just go easy and let my adrenaline re-fuel as I am depleted from my all work and no play situation.  I find if I go nice and easy my body is okay with going longer and eventually kicks in to the faster pace even though my brain is very tired.  I accidentally pee-d my pants.  Felt like I had to go but resisted and there were not good spots to go when I needed to and I had these tight biker shorts on under my old running pants so they were pressing hard on my weakened bladder and all the water I drank after my huge Cafe Rio salad yesterday.  I polished the whole thing off in one sitting.  I am probably the only girl, not obese, that does that in one sitting.  I couldn't eat for 10 hours after that.  I then pigged out again on a huge turkey bagel sandwich with fries to top it off and a V8 juice.  Apparently I wasn't feeding myself enough.  I woofed that down too.  Anyway, back to my loss of control on the run, other than initially feeling really warm after doing so, it quickly began to freeze my thighs and hurt my already sped up pace. So with windchill the temp probably dropped 10 degrees.  Oh well.  Cryotherapy comes in all forms.  This entry is getting too long.  Off to shower.  Avg pace for 11.5 miles=   8:18.  Almost gained on VP guy.  Just one more mile and he would have been toast.  Ran a route up in the hills of Cedar so not an easy course but one of my favorites.  First mile 9:14, fastest mile 7:04.   Last two miles 7:08 and 7:21.  Brief cooldown.

Nice brisk run Julie, unfortunate about the bladder issues--bladder and bowels can be such a pain sometimes! Wow you have been hungry and thirsty! I really hope that you figure out what has you feeling so bad lately--although with your sensitivity I bet the whole inversion thing is probably doing a number on you.

You're NOT the only girl who could eat the whole Cafe Rio salad in one sitting. I do that all the time. My hubby would sit and watch me down that whole thing and smile and chuckle the entire time. I eat twice as much as him most of the time. Oink oink!!! :)

Wow, way to tough it out with frozen thighs, awful icky air and no sleep. Still very AWESOME mileage and pace!!! Hope you get some well deserved sleep!

i am tired of the bad air and lack of sunshine as well. nice run even with the mishap and frozen thighs. good job polishing off the entire cafe rio salad. i think i eat more food than my 18 year old brother, and that is saying something :)
