Looks like there is no hope for a run today.  Heater broke down in the night.  50 degrees on the main floor with wind chill.  Smells like burnt rubber.  Was up at 6am trying to pry off the fan from the furnace (clogged filter from all the embers flying may have cause the motor of our fan to finally give, EVERYBODY CHECK YOUR HEATING FILTERS!!!!  NOW!!!).  Our filter was thick with filth.  I used to have a schedule to change filters, I think all my night work got me off my cleaning schedule.  I don't remember when I last changed it.  Not good.  So now on the coldest day of the year I am without heat.  I have no real desire to run right now.  I am very nauseated still.  Probably from the burnt rubber smell that the furnace gave off before the fan stopped working.  Bring it on I say.  JK.  I would rather be warm and cozy right now.  Heading for the upstairs to where we have a second furnace.  We are thinking of plugging in our microwave up there and secluding our little family there.  One big family adventure, survivor edition coming up : DDDD>    Neighbor furnace guy coming to check our furnace soon.  Oh please let it be the $5.00 part.  Yah think?   Not here.  Probably the $300 one.  Enjoy your warm homes everyone.

May be it's just replacing the motor belt. We had our furnace checked, no repair, cost $50. I'm going to check my filter now. So, you think your nausea is from the smoky smell? Hope it isn't carbon monoxide! Bundle up, eat chicken soup!

I need to go buy filters. Good Luck girl. Bring your girls over to play and you can warm up at my house.

Oh brrrr and how uncomfortable. Love modern comforts! I wouldn't run either, not with nausea and not with no good way to warm up afterward. It is hard to knock the chill off after these winter runs! You can hang out and drink hot chocolate!

Of course it is the $280 part and our neighbor is putting us first on the list. Very nice. Three hours or so labor. Gross at $60/hr. Maybe I should go pick up an extra shift for time and 1/2 and skip on running for a while....not.

Mel- would love to come over but it also happens to be PICTURE DAY for dance and there are three different times for them. Lovin' it. Especially since I don't know how to do make-up. Bought some the other day. Should be interesting. Practiced on myself yesterday. Seemed to go okay. I really think it is the heater giving me this intense nausea. You know me with smells. I was fine upstairs and outside so it must be it. Here goes another $500 that I wish could be spent on moi, like a garmin or better running shoes, trail shoes, gear (besides my eighties stuff). The list goes on but still I just forfeit the luxuries and wait for the next big money taker. C'est la vie.
