okay so decided to run the time trial today instead of waiting a week from last one which would be tomorrow.  After realizing it was the benadryl taken every day last week after the swimmer's itch encounter that caused my significant joint pain in both my hope to hobble and last Fridays long run I am feeling more hopeful in my abilities.  Despite the nagging attachment to the achilles pain that is quite inflammatory in the right heel (new spot from where all the plantar fascitis was happening) i just put one foot in front of the other and got myself to pull through it mentally.  I got to the rec center at 7:50 after dropping off Courtney at school.  Started my first mile and was like so not feeling it with the right foot the perpetual issue.  I started at 1 mile at 8:57 and second mile made it two 8:41 pace after the first lap at 8:49.  1% incline.  So I then decided to do some 0.1 mile pick ups at 6:00 pace.  I ran five at 6:00 and four at 5:56.  Two at 5:52 and one at 5:49.  12 total with a 0.08 rest run in between at 8:41 pace.  I would wait for the tm to read 2.22 then up (or 2.42 etc)  pace to 10 mph and start the 0.1 miles at 2.24 to 2.34 then bring the pace down to 6.9 mph til tm read 2.42 and repeat going up in pace as mentioned earlier.  I was at 4 miles when I finished the 12th.  Got off TM and took a water break and prepared myself for the SW time trial.  I figured by running 10 to 10.3 mph earlier 9.2 start out would feel a heck of a lot easier only I had to hold it for three miles and increase my mile pace each mile. Moved incline down from 1% to 0.5% for the first two miles then 0% for last mile.  I just have to make that last mile feel easier so I don't lose it mentally.  I got on the TM ran 1 minute to get to 0.1 miles (so easy pace duh) then went right in to my time trial finishing 3.1 miles in 20:20.  Take a minute off that and that's 19:20 for the 3 miles.  6:26 ap.  So 6:35, 6:31 and 6:27 until last 0.14 where I picked up the pace to 6:00.  Strong finish and so glad I held it together.  Thought about quitting at mile two but talked myself out of it somehow.  Once I get to the mile to go I feel better but still doubt I can pick it up.  It was mostly my foot dictating my mind.  I felt an incredible sense of accomplishment.  Ran 1 mile cooldown at 8:48 ap.

Sore throat started at work Sunday afternoon when  I swallow.  Can't tell if it is muscular/nerve or really my throat as my neck is really tender on left by occiput and by where gland is but on outside on my neck.   Getting worse and my ear at times feels full of fluid.  Was fine when I first woke up and got downstairs but after an hour getting Courtney off to school and getting the other two up I started to feel more and more achy.  Great.  This run is going to be hard.  EASY pace no watch and that is all I could muster as my foot when I feel sick really cops out. Darn right foot back of heel pain, new spot very tender.  Seems systemic.  Then after 7 miles my symphisis pubis started to ache.  I had a hard time getting through the first mile and the second.  Very humid for me. Saw snails on trail in AF. Ran a 5 mile out and back to West Pond Road and thankfully ran into Taunya and Jessica running a 10 miler also.  They were almost at 7 and I almost at 5 turnaround.  Talked for about five minutes then was on my way again.  Just jogged back real easy.  Symphisis burning more and more and hips beginning to feels tender as well, something systemic,  strep???  Anyway got home and just sat on porch drinking ice cold water.  Did not take my garmin, used stop watch and just course tooled it at 10.13 miles.  AP then 8:41.  Better than I thought.   : D.

Rained out of suncrest run with the girls. Super humid so opted for rec center but that was worse. No fan and humid. Ran 13 miles tbought maybe 18 ut jist too drenched with sweat i knew i was over doing it. Ran provessive each mile increase y 0.1 mph starting at 6.7 mph. Ended at 7.9 (7:35) increasing pace to 7:03 last quarter mile at 3%. Every lat quarter of each mile increased incline from 1% to 3% then first upped the pace by the 0.1 moh becore decreasing incline back to 1%. So 3.25 miles at 3% :-). Lost three pounds of sweat. Wow.

Pelvis unhappy after five miles. Called into work just after i finished on my drive to ice myself. Had to forego that idea and get to work.

Walter did not get msg tbat i could .ot pace the sf half and somehow my name was listed on fb about five days ago. I was scheduled to work but got put oncall @ 515am. Took a celebrex troy got for me from his mother. Yay. Hadnt had one in a year and i was desperate to not feel the pubis pain. It worked along with a plea to heavenly father to belp me. I ran even slpits at begi.ning then each mile got easier that i felt too vood to slow so stayed to help three guys push well to finish. Slowed before finish but still was too fast. 1:37:14 7:25 ap. :-). Could have run two to three minutes faster. So maybe 3:14 or sligbtly faster at sg. Not sore at all. Forgot to run a cooldown but honestly this run was run sub lactate so my heartrate was good wbole time.
